Hourly Rate to Salary Calculator

The reverse of the salary calculator. You type an hourly rate and the hours that would actually be paid. The result is still gross. It is not a tax calculation and it does not invent a benefits package.

Calculator

How the number is produced

Annual = hourly × hours per week × paid weeks. Monthly = annual ÷ 12. Daily = hourly × (hours per week ÷ days per week).

Worked example

€25 an hour, 40 hours, 52 weeks. Annual is 25 × 2,080 = €52,000. Monthly is €4,333.33.

When this is useful

A contract quotes an hour and you want the year it implies, using your real week rather than a generic 2,080.

Limits

Gross only. Overtime multipliers, unpaid gaps, and tax are not applied.

More on the assumptions is on how the calculators work.

Questions

Is the monthly figure my take-home pay?

No. It is the gross annual total divided by 12.
